Introduction to mountainbiking

We learn cycling straight after learning to walk. MTB requires a little more skills and balance. At Season we guide you to discover the joys of this sport, far from cars and road traffic.

This program contains: bike set up and control, body position, climbing, descending, braking, cornering, stoping…

Our staff will support you to overcome your fears to build your confidence to cross obstacles you thought you never could.

*** More than 25 miles a day, and over 1500 meters of vertical ascent over the day.
**** You like to set new records or at list to psh your own limits? Those programs based on high intensity long day rides are made for you.

TECHNIQUE:
*Able to stand on the pedals and to brake keeping the balance. Few or little technical sections which can be skipped walking aside the bike. Large and groomed tracks without major difficulties.
**Able to anticipate difficulties to be in a good position to overcome them, brake precisely, set his bike in a wished line. Steeper but quite rolly trails with a few technical places skippable by walking aside the bike.
*** Able to ride and steer his bike in any terrain including steeper slopes. Able to clear natural obstacles knowing his own limits. Uneven singletracks with rocky, rootsy sections and sharps switchbacks.
**** You are known for having a truly good bar handling. Challenging and even charging notions don't scare you. You are used to ride "no fall zone" tracks. And if it's really unrideable, a bit of bike carrying doesn't frighten you.
